Stan Chesnutt

Stan Chesnutt I live in Berkeley but have been a Bay Area resident since 1985. My software-development career has covered many topics but I generally focus upon deep systems-software problems. A somewhat current resume can be found here, and I do have a profile on LinkedIn.

While most of my software creations are the property of my various employers, I've written a few hobbyist programs:

an Java implementation of a Sudoku solver, using Knuth's "Dancing Links" method
a reasonably-efficient word-search puzzle generator
a Java applet version of the sliding numbers puzzle.
a solution-finder for the pentominoes puzzle, written in C. I've also written a solver in Java, based upon Dancing Links.
